What you left out about the Duke Lacrosse case was the democrat prosecuter in question was using the case to launch his campaign for state AG. It was the incumbent democrat AG (Roy Cooper) who did the right thing but only to take out someone who wanted his job.
Roy Cooper is just as bad as Nyfong. He got rid of his competition for the AG's job. Once in office he REFUSED to charge the prostitute for lying to the police that she was raped by the Duke lacrosse players. Some felt it was because she was 'involved' with a Durham politician. The gal went on to kill her boyfriend.
