This all started when JFK debated Nixon on television back in 1960. JFK came across as bright and energetic. Nixon, not so much. For those who might be interested, here it is:
As a side note, Reagan was no pretty boy. But he sure knew how to hold an audience captive. That was true even when the audience was not so friendly at first. Our future candidates would do well to learn from the Gipper in that regard.

Obama was groomed from the time he was 10 years old. He had the ‘it’ factor. I’m sure they’re looking for the next one. Buttigeg won’t do. Not pretty enough and taking it up the butt might feel good but it won’t help.
