i ran a san fran based company for a few years back in the late 90s (3rd & townsend).

it was like this back then.

every night leaving the building, we’d have to carefully push open the door to slid the homeless aside that were sleeping there. then play hopscotch over the human crap and piss on the sidewalk just to retrieve our car from the off-street-parking garage.

back then the city paper encouraged kids of middle class homes to spend the nights and weekends living on the street. once they start that, they’d run into drugs and the rape culture destroying their lives.

dems doing dem things.

don’t let them move away from the blue areas... keep the animals in the zoo

30 years ago yet it's "shocking" and new news to a British paper. Ironic.
