Select for line on the right of the screen, I find it easier to visualize.
Select Respiratory
Pathogen Trends (RP2.1) on the left side of the screen.
Now you see all respiratory pathogens.
Click on the “martini” glass on the right side column. A pop up slides out. You now see “Filter Pathogens (All Groups)”
Scroll down and select SARS-CoV-2. click anywhere on the screen and the popup slides back
The number shows 15% at present and climbing steadily since mid April.
The data represented is positive results on samples sent to labs that are part of the test results from laboratories contributing to BIOFIRE® Trend system and are exported in near real-time.
It doesn't necessarily reflect death or hospitalization but give a good indication of the presence of the pathogen in the general population. It is definitely increasing maybe not as fast as some would like.
