Will we ever know the identity of the Supreme Court leaker?

There are reasons to fear that the public will kept in the dark forever.

There is growing concern that we may never learn the identity of the person who for the first time in history leaked a draft of a pending decision. It’s been nine and a half weeks since the draft opinion on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health was published by Politico on May 2. Although this is the biggest breach in Supreme Court security in history, we have had no indication that the culprit has been identified. This is strange, given the very small pool – fewer than 100 clerks, justices and support staff -- of suspects who could have had access to the very secret draft opinion, one that turned out to be very close to the decision finally handed down by the Court.

The agency in charge of Supreme Court leak investigation is the Supreme Court Marshals, which is not an investigative agency, but which provides security for the justices while in Washington, DC, and handles many administrative functions for the Court, including contracts administration, printing documents, paying salaries, and compensating expenses for maintaining buildings and grounds. The total number of staff is 260, including the small Supreme Court Police force that provides security at the Supreme Court Building. It is headed by Col. Gail Curley, a career Army lawyer who has held the title of US Attorney.

Given the magnitude of the breach of Court security, threatening the future integrity of its functioning if leaks become commonplace, it is hard to understand why nothing has been revealed yet to the public about apprehending the miscreant or miscreants. Polygraph tests should have been administered to all who had access to the draft document, the phone records of those with signs of concern should have been subpoenaed,

It has been flushed down the memory hole by the MSM. If they knew, they would not report it.

There are a lot of things they know and won’t report. A lot.

Traitor Roberts needs to prove it wasn’t himself.

They were originally saying that it should be easy to find him.
There is only very limited number of people who have access to that kind of info.
But it looks to me like they do not really want to get him. Hush the whole thing, Nothing to see here, keep going!

That seems to be the MSM reaction to all Democratic peccadillos. Just hush, no news!

We will if we keep accusing John Roberts. If it’s not him, he’ll eventually get sick and tired of it and out the leaker.

We have seen this pattern hundreds of times before.

I would bet the farm they already know.

The pattern that holds so consistently true is that

IF the information hurts the left
THEN the information is held secure and even secret
AND prosecutions are either slow to come, or never do
ELSE IF the information hurts the right AND/OR helps the left
THEN the information is promptly leaked to multiple publishers via “undisclosed sources
AND swat teams are busting down peoples doors

Doesn’t matter. Whoever it was is not happy. The outcome is the constitution has been restored from its 1973 attack. The fight is over. Demonstrators don’t get it. Tge leaker does. Tge fight is over. The leaker lost.

The Mafia call it “omerta” - the code of silence.

The supreme Court tucks in its own skirts and walks with a dignity, in their own minds, that is unassailable.

“biggest breach in Supreme Court security in history”

...honestly, I can’t imagine caring. Threatening the integrity of the process? Please. What integrity? If you can read Bouie v City of Columbia without realizing that justice has no place in the American justice system, and that integrity is just a word on the wall that we all salute without thinking about it much, you’re either WAYYY smarter than me or deluded. I’m betting on... well, you haven’t read it yet, so I’ll withhold judgment.

Roberts will make sure the investigation never reveals his fellow conspirator who leaked the draft opinion.

No, because the media doesn’t give a shyte about it. Even Fox News doesn’t care.

Same with Pelosi’s husband’s arrest.

I’ll wager the leaker has been discovered. Check the employees that do not return to work in the next session.

Whoever it was is not happy...

Or, happy.... as the leak prevented any of the 6 from changing their minds (less than 6, given that Gorsuch and Thomas would not change their minds).

There are only three explanations.
A. The FBI is in competent, and given even an incredibly constrained number of suspects, is incapable of the most basic of investigations
B. The FBI is complicit in not wanting to disclose the perpetrator because the perpetrator is a leftist democrat; AKA, one of their own.
C. Both A and B

How many years has the corrupt FBI had Hunter's laptop?

If that had been Eric Trump's - with the same information - the FBI would have leaked the whole thing to their butt boys at the Washington Post and trials would have been convened...

This is no different. White liberal 'elites' (white trash criminal/thugs) control the FBI and DOJ and they 'protect their own'...
