I’m no fan of Mitch either but I’d like to see what repubs were giving in exchange for the antiabortion judge before I pass judgement on this particular deal.

I’m thinking it may have been the Senate Republican cave on the BS “common sense” gun control bill that was sent to the WH.

McConnell doesn’t like an armed populace any more than the Rats do.

I'm assuming you meant to say what the repubs were "given" in exchange. It's too bad that you haven't realized by now that repubs don't demand anything in return for their voting with the Democrats, that they are nothing but a bunch of gutless wonders who go along, to get along, that the GOP is the uni-party, and that the majority of the Republicans in the Senate voted to accept Biden's fraudulent electors without any promises from the Democrats. The only time the majority of Congressional Republicans know you is when they want your vote or money. Once they get it, they kick you in the teeth, and stab you in the back, and virtually ignore you until the next election cycle, when they creep back once more, to ask you to trust them, and plenty of stupid Republican voters fall for it. The GOP is no different than domestic abusers, who promise they won't do to you again, what they've already done multiple times to you in the past. Republican voters love being mentally abused.

I am no longer a registered Republican because of January 6th. After 40+ years, I changed my registration to No Party and will not compromise my values any longer by supporting a party that doesn't respect me, to want to protect my ballot from voter fraud, but instead sanctioned it on January 6th. When I changed my registration, I could no longer vote in NY State primaries, and I will not be voting in the midterms. I will not vote for my Congresswoman because she voted several times to send money to Ukraine, and believes the promises of the House GOP leadership (Kevin McCarthy). No wonder the Dems stole her seat in 2018, and tried to steal her win in 2020. They'll try again this fall, but she's on her own this time around. If I am still alive in 2024, and President Trump is on the ballot, he is the only one I will be voting for. Until then, the GOP is dead to me.
