I wouldn’t have cooperated either in this situation. I would have told the Officer to get the employee that made the accusation and make them Formally Accuse me of a Crime in front of the Officer, then I would have produced the receipt and Demanded he immediately ARREST the employee for making a False Police report.

I would have made someone in the store make the accusation in front of the cop too. Then I would have shown the receipt to the cop.
