El Dorado was pretty much the remake. Rio Bravo was the original with Ricky Nelson
I always liked El Dorado better than Rio Bravo.
the best line was IMHO:
“I’m lookin at a Tin Star, with a Drunk Pinned to it”
Which was in El Dorado spoken by The Duke to Robert Mitchum.
