That is a LOT of paint. Primer (typically Zinc Chromate) plus paint for something like this is probably thousands of pounds. Wouldn't be surprised if a new weight-n-balance would be done as a final step.

LOL! Yup. The first two external tanks for the shuttle program were painted with white latex paint. From #3 onward, no paint due to weight savings initiatives.
