She’s a nobody and has received more attention via this print media report than her actual show.
Like the hosts of The View and countless MSNBC shows their words would go unnoticed if others didn’t amplify them. Frankly, I don’t care which is why I don’t listen or watch these programs to begin with.
I guess a DEM would know given their position regarding the Dred Scott case where 7 DEM Justices voted in favor of slavery and 2 REP Justices dissented......

Well, if you are a black intellectual, you don’t have to come up with any actual innovative ideas. All you have to do is figure out a way to tie any issue to slavery, or segregation, or racist oppression, and then you get lauded as some great mind. So why would they take the hard road of actually coming up with original ideas when society presents them with such an easy path to notoriety and recognition?
Way to minimize the actual Human horrors of chattel slavery.

As I recall, Robert Bork did also but in the opposite way (both decisions relied on “substantive due process” - I don’t recall that Taney used the phrase but that’s what it amounted to).
