I don’t normally think it’s OK to kill someone for beating your ass like most Freepers do but in this case the guy pretty much had it coming
They weren’t squared off the guy attacked him for no good reason
I’ve had to make this decision recently involving a drug attic tamper with a knife I did not kill him mainly because he stopped one my son had his 10 mm on the guy
It’s best not to kill someone unless you have to regardless of the morality you might have about it because it opens up such a canna worms if the killer was a pure white guy it would be a much bigger problem than it already is
You’re missing one point: the smaller man had no assurance that the bigger man wouldn’t cause severe if not fatal injury. (Do you recall the young man who was beaten to death at a school Lebron James established?) People of small stature commonly abandon any concept of a “fair fight.” Of necessity, they stop the threat expeditiously using any available and effective means. Knife wounds are iffy—you can’t be assured of neutralizing the threat if the attacker uses effective evasive maneuvers. An epinephrine surge can increase the energy applied in response to the attack. What’s unfortunate is that a person who works for a living gets stuck in such a situation.
