Fauci took an antiviral COVID treatment.
During the June 23 briefing, Fauci confirmed that he had finished his five-day treatment of Paxlovid, an oral antiviral pill developed by Pfizer and authorized by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). After completing a round of Paxlovid, Fauci tested negative for COVID three days in a row, Forbes reported. But a rapid antigen test displayed a positive result on day four, with Fauci indicating he was experiencing a "Paxlovid rebound" and a resurgence of COVID symptoms.
"Over the next day or so, I started to feel really poorly, much worse than in the first go-around," Fauci said during a remote interview with the Foreign Global Health Forum on June 28. In light of this turn of events, Fauci started another round of Paxlovid and was on day four of five during the June 28 interview.
"Fortunately, I feel reasonably good, but I'm not completely without symptoms," Fauci said during the interview, also telling The New York Times that he credits Paxlovid for keeping him out of the hospital.

I just came off of Paxlovid. I was diagnosed June 14 and tested negative on July 2, to put it bluntly it was a bitch, at one point I tought I was going to break some ribs I was coughing so hard. Now almost normal just feels like a mild cold. Turned 84 last month, just didn’t want to get on the ventilator.
So much for following medical guidelines: the Paxlovid literature specifically addresses “rebound” and it clearly states
“There is currently no evidence that additional treatment is needed with Paxlovid or other anti-SARS-CoV-2 therapies in cases where COVID-19 rebound is suspected.”
Pretty close, that, and you have to supress the strong urge to bark like a hunting Dog in pursuit of some fresh meat.

It would not do Fauci much good to just take HCQ or Ivermectin, since he specifically neglected the virus killer ZINC when he planned his test of Zelenko’s 3 drug protocol, and is not interested in Vitamin D3 or Vitamin C.
The link below further discusses the subject of the new anti Covid-19 drug. Apparently they are discoverieng if one has had the vaccine, then the drug is not very effective.
