Posted on 07/05/2022 9:50:47 AM PDT by Eleutheria5

Dr. Warren Farrell is a political scientist, activist, speaker, and author of The Boy Crisis. He has been interviewed by Oprah, Barbara Walters, Tucker Carlson, Peter Jennings, and many others. Dr. Farrell conducts communication workshops, and his writings have been frequently featured in The New York Times.

In this episode, Dr. Farrell and I discuss issues that lead to mass homicides committed by young men. We also talk about child-rearing and boundary enforcement, discriminating between male competence and male power compulsion, and the importance of recognizing and rewarding a father’s contributions to their children’s development. Dr. Farrell and I also share a personal message to anyone who may be harboring vengeful fantasies.

The aforementioned gaggle of gangsters, at every “crisis” or turning of world events, only have one thought: How can we exploit this for our gain, preferably monetary, political, and all three. Russia invades Ukraine: We get to make speeches, spend money, and keep the crisis going to the detriment of Russia, Ukraine, Bialarussia, Lithuania, etc. Mass shooting: Make speeches, demand legal changes, slander your adversaries, do nothing that does not keep the environment primed for more of the same. Covid: Shut down society, push the injections that you had previously saying wouldn’t work because Donald Trump spearheaded it and call Trump supporters anti-science anti-vax anti-mask ignorant racists, and keep shutting down everything. And so on and so forth and doobie doobie doobie. These are evil people, and their enemy is the truth.

We’ve advised all of our 4 kids to get a BS instead of a BA in college and so far all have done so

Not a criticism, just a comment. What happens when we tell our youth to get "practical" degrees so they can pay off their school loans, but steer them away from those "useless" liberal arts degrees that serve to pass on Western civilization?

Liberalized academia aside please, because that infiltrates every subject to some degree. How will the next generation learn about beauty if no one is trained in the arts, for instance?

The fact that mass shooters tend to spend HUNDREDS of hours fantasizing about their imagined vengeful activities coupled with the fact that committing such a crime is effectively suicide provides an educational opportunity.

If our schools weren’t spending time teaching our kids that “Suzie Has Two Mommies” there would be time to teach our kids to do a relatively simple self-assessment of their own mental state, allowing them freedom of choice; that is, the opportunity to choose a path that leads to life and not death.

You are right; it’s a risk. But even just 4 years at a public, in-state university in the United States is now a cool half million dollars for 4 kids (which I have)—and that’s the very cheapest option, other than the 1st two years at a community college and living at home (which ARE great options).

We’ve advised our kids to major in WHATEVER THEY WANT, but just to get a BS in it, not a BA. So for example: don’t get a BA in Economics, get a BS in Economics. Signals a little more math and a bit more rigor.

I’ve heard of other families suggesting similar to their college age kids: major in whatever you want, but then get a minor in Computer Science or something else rigorous and practical.
