It's only a month if we let it be a month.
I can tell you that during the month of June, I gave zero thought to whatever perversion we were supposed to "celebrate."
Turnabout is fair play as most people spend Memorial Day grilling burgers and going to the beach with nary a thought of those who gave their lives to make such leisure possible.
I do think of this on Memorial Day.
