Are you saying that a member of the military should be allowed to pick and choose which lawful orders they obey?
The key word there is “lawful.” I maintain that the order to take an unproven, ineffective, experimental vaccine is inherently unlawful. See the Nuremberg codes, et. al.
When something is ineffective and doesn’t assist the mission it is useless and pointless, indeed harmful, to the mission.
