Can you just hear the contempt in the people’s response?

It does sound like clanging bells to most of the world.

Interesting passage concerning gifts of the Spirit... Some Christians believe that where the Bible states...

“9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.”

It is actually telling us that “when that which is perfect is come(they believe that this refers to the Bible itself), then that which is in part shall be done away(meaning the gifts of the Holy Spirit).

Another “fence” for believers to sit on one side of, or the other.
