I’m old enough to remember when they said the earth would freeze before they started saying it’s going to melt.
Also remember when they said the world would be overpopulated when it’s actually experiancing decline in population.

I was following a thread elsewhere about capturing CO2 and a ton of folks were telling the idiots that CO2 is plant food, and stuff like that. Some clown said the CO2 was making the oceans too acidic. I almost popped in and said - “acid oceans make acid rain. They warned us about that in the 70s. Oh wait, the 70s scare was the coming ice age. Maybe acid rain was the 80’s scare. Or was that peak oil?”
