Herd animals, when they migrate en masse, crap and p!ss all over the land, fertilizing and renewing it. To reclaim desert land, have lots of migratory grazing herd animals, and plant and husband lots of trees. Carbon fuels are bad for primitive, sparsely populated peoples, because advanced, populous peoples then come along and do unto them, as is happening in Darfur and as happened to the Osage. But they’re great for the global climate, because they raise everyone’s standard of living except for the dead primitive peoples who get robbed.
