It was comet fragments that caused the event. The bitch part is that for about 20 years the earth kept getting hit every year when it would orbit back around to the comet fragments.
I don’t think it was comet fragments. The Great Lakes are conical, with the deepest parts in the middle. Lake Superior is a mile deep. This looks like the result of a lightning strike, not an impact.
Note: The Hubble Telescope has photographs of lighting bolts on the scale of nebulae, i.e., almost infinitely more vast than our entire planet.
Admittedly, this is far outside the views of academic science; but, I’m afraid I have very little use for it anyway.
What is REALLY known is hidden, most likely from most of the university scientists as well as the lay public. And that doesn’t even take into account the educated imbeciles and the deliberate liars in academia.
