Actually, Bob, my first thought after reading that painfully honest portrayal of Ukraine’s situation was that the Pentagon is going to fire his arse...:-) So yes, I think his obvious inaccurate assertion about Russia’s losses were sycophancy for his paymasters. But, probably not enough...:-)
That article was published in a venue for military professionals (”The Modern War Institute provides a forum for professionals to share opinions and cultivate ideas.”) not for the unwashed masses...:-)
