“Our priority is focused on the man Jaylon was and the positive impact he made on so many as a father, son, fiancé, friend and teammate,” the Ravens said in a statement via Pro Football Talk.

I’m sure he had a “positive impact” on the life of a few drug dealers too.

So is the cocaine being cut with fentanyl?

Yes. That's why so many more people these days are dropping dead from coke and heroin. It isn't the coke and heroin killing people as much as it's the fentanyl these drugs are cut with and often the users don't even realize it.

In the old days, cocaine's lethality was mitigated by the fact that it cost a lot of money to overdose on cocaine. These days, not so much.

Heroin always killed people, moreso than cocaine did but that was typically because new users didn't understand dosage. Seasoned junkies knew their tolerance. Again, fentanyl changes things.

Street drugs today are more deadly than they've ever been and it is precisely because of Chinese fentanyl.

FJB & his regime are enabling China every which way they can.

It was the right who supported the free trade deals with China that funded their military build up and research, because "it would benefit consumers". Many Freepers were among them.

How's that working out for us?

So now I am confused. Why would a drug dealer spike his coke knowing that it will kill off his client base? His money maker. To me, it seems that if a dealer cuts his drugs with fentanyl, he is purposefully attempting to kill the very people that he wants to sell to. So confused. Please clarify.
Does fentanyl by itself give one a “high”? Why are people using it?
Thanks.

“Getting vaxxxed sure as heck didn’t help. They get 4 jabs in the NFL. Minus vaxxxes, he might have pulled through his cocaine and fentanyl use.”

You’re an idiot.

If Maragaret Sanger was alived today, she’d be trying to find a way to combine the high of Fentanyl with the Flavor of Menthol.

Sounds crazy, but hard drug users in the African America Community actually prefer Fentanyl laced drugs.

If you watch interviews with Black users, they LOVE the high from fentanyl.

For their money, there is nothing better.

I guess they are less risk averse than most. Dying only happens to other people, I guess.

I recommend the book “The Least of Us.” It gives a good background and impact of fentanyl, blaming Mexico and China.

Hard core junkies are taking - actually seeking - fentanyl laced heroin. Some have such high tolerance regular heroin won’t even have an effect on them. Heroin pushers spike some of their bags hoping for an overdose so the other junkies know think he’s got the best stuff.

But yeah, most likely the cocaine is laced with fentanyl. I can only guess that its an economic reason, fent is cheaper so they cut the cocaine with it. But the old fashioned cutting agents are cheap too. Its obviously a horrible mix, effectively a speedball. Why does a user would want to take two drugs with basically opposite effects at the same time? Maybe dealers are hoping to get their cocaine users addicted to fent so they come back for more?

Sad is these kids who think they are getting a xanax pill or something and end up dying from fentanyl. All of it is stupid because all these drugs would basically be as cheap to manufacture as aspirin if not for the war on drugs. We obviously have a demand problem too since people want these drugs for their own personal reasons and the price doesn’t seem to be a limiting factor and it apparently isn’t all that hard to get. But try asking for a valium or a codeine prescription from a doctor and your file will be labeled as “drug seeker”.

Fentanyl is similar to heroin and morphine but 100-1000x more potent. So people use it to get high, for the euphoric feeling.

I agree, there seems to be little logic in killing your customers but I posited above perhaps the cocaine dealers think the customers will get addicted to the fentanyl and come back for more. Cocaine is addictive by itself but for people who just snort it, it’s fairly easy to come off it - the physical withdrawal is not the problem its the mental and emotional withdrawal that’s harder to deal with. But add fentanyl to cocaine and now you’re creating people with much stronger physical dependency - basically turning cocaine users into heroin addicts.

I understand that drug dealers are combining fentanyl and cocaine.
I wonder if he knew this? Did he also drink some alcohol?

Another money making machine. And who knows who’s growing the plants, what are they spraying on them, what additives are put in that don’t belong and how is the hemp oil processed. When state Gov gets involved and new regulators, suppliers are brought in God knows what ingredients are added. It could be poisoned oil, psychotropic drugs, hallucinogens.

Fentanyl will be added for extra flavor and that smooth taste.

“the positive impact he made on so many as a father, son, fiancé, friend and teammate”

He will make a positive impact if they learn to stay away from cocaine—if not he had no impact at all....

They're not trying to kill them. They're trying to give their customers a good high on the cheap.

Problem is, most drug dealers are not good pharmacists.
