I would very much like to see them go broke. I don’t think it’s going to happen.


I never thought Sears would go out of business but because of bad management decisions they did. Other companies with better business plans took customers away and the rest is history as they say.

Disney is not too big to fail. It is not the size of the company but the debt they have compared to the income they have. Disney needs a steady stream of money coming in to support the empire. I will let other figure out just how much or how little it would take to push them into bankruptcy. But it is possible that Disney will at some point fail.

The advantage Disney has is they still make lots of bank in the international market, which is easy to please as long as your movies are flashy with cool special effects and lots of explosions. People who don’t speak Engrish very well usually don’t pay much attention to the political agenda you are pushing, so it’s harder to turn them off like that.

While that is true, Disney’s corporate empire goes way beyond the Disney product
