Personally I hate right-lane hogs who block the entrance ramps.
I don’t care what the law officially sees each lane as, it’s rude and messes up traffic both for oncoming and straight drivers.
or the zl1... which clocks 204.5 mph... just sayin for a friend.
:-)
There were MORE than one person spotted and stopped that Friday AFTERNOON.
It’s not a big road. It’s ok but it’s not even as long as its parallel neighbor I-97. Which a few weeks ago, had a rear axle/differential out in the north lanes not far from there! Try hitting that with your 170mph car.
Not smart.
#55 Did you travel back in time like Flight 33?....
See at 16:00 mark.

LOL!!
In the era before K-rails California freeways had a sort of white fence as a divider on the medians. Late ‘60s.
I was sitting directly behind the driver of a 1969 Hemi Barracuda and the speedometer was pegged at 120. We were going so fast the white fence looked like solid white ribbon.
We were heading back from Hollywood to Orange County. About 40 miles. Eventually the driver decides he needs to stop because he’s “feeling too drunk to drive further”. He asks me if I want to drive, which seemed like a good idea since we might survive that way.
When I pulled onto the freeway at 60 mph I don’t think that I had shifted yet. That’s how I remember it. 1st gear, with four people in the car. I didn’t want to try going 120+ but I was curious to see just how powerful that engine was.
