I find it interesting when old/ancient practices align with modern scientific studies. (yoga & meditation)
I practice what most would say is a holistic approach, but with a western scientific mind.
I lift weights and sprint 2-3 times a week. Eat healthy, as in mostly plants(veg & fruit) and animal (any meat & eggs).
Yoga a couple times a week. Meditation twice daily. Some supplementation, and plenty of sleep.
I always worked out hard and played hard, but adding the yoga, meditation, proper nutrition, and no booze with good sleep made a big difference.
No booze….changed my life, for the better.
