Greek name for the color is “chlorophyll”

Incorrect!

The English word "chlorophyll" is derived from two Greek words: χλωρός, khloros (meaning "pale green"), and φύλλον, phyllon (meaning "leaf").

The German word, Blattgrün ("leaf-green"), makes that perfectly clear to any German speaker.

Regards,
