Fine, don’t have sex. That will probably work better than having to depend on those among you who are so irresponsible that you fail to take advantage of the pills, condoms, and other birth control showered upon you since grade school.
I tried the pill when I was married and in my 20s. After 3 days of vomiting I gave up. Five years later when I was pregnant with my first I felt nauseus and close to vomiting for 7 months every day. Between that child and the second, I read Adelle Davis’ books Let’s Eat Right to Keep Fit, and Let’s Have Healthy Children. One, or maybe both said that Vitamin B6 was good for seasickness and other vomiting disorders. I took 25 mg. of B6 every day of the second pregnancy, and had no nausea except the one day I forgot to take my vitamins. It also kept me from getting vaginal candida which had given my first child Thrush at birth.
We reverted to condoms, which had not been a problem except one day using a condom that had been on on the car’s dashboard during a spell of really hot weather. Of course, there are men who cannot keep it hard while pulling out. For women who are not very responsible or with men who are not responsible, on of the internal barrier methods or occasional hormone injections can be quite protective. This can be encouraged by a worried mother and a trip to the doctor. Remember, even rape and incest with 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and other illegally young women may not result in permission for an abortion. Working as a counselor, I had several adult clients who had been raped as young as 2 years old, or in their very early teens. You as a man perhaps would never think to do something like that, but it is an ugly world out there, which is why women are SO ANGRY.
