A few months ago a FReeper who is a farmer posted that she routinely does a regimen of Ivermectin twice a year just to be on the safe side.

Funny. In handling a couple hundred sheep every year my daughters jabbed me by accident with tetanus, foot rot, ivernectin, rabies, and B-12 shots while wrestling them and holding them down for shearing, foot trimming, and vaccines.

Didn't seem to hurt me much.
