#10. Interesting. Do you have any idea how that is supposed to work for ground launched, surface-to-air missiles launched in surface-to-surface mode? To me it sounds like a way to waste missiles.

Exactly. They’re wasting their SAM missiles to attack ground targets. Especially using their Crimean based SAM air defense missiles to attack Nikolaev and Odessa ground targets. Not enough cruise missiles available for the job.

Only beneficial thing for Russia is the Crimea defense SAMs used against ground targets in Nikolaev and Odessa are hard to shoot down so they usually get past Ukrainian air defenses. But it leaves Crimea more and more at risk.
