That was one of the more idiotic comments shared here. When I toured Gettysburg earlier this month, I recall learning about how if one took a musket ball in a limb, the limb would be shattered and if you were lucky, you’d get away with only having to have a surgeon cut the limb off from where the wound was as many died from the gangrene or infection.

Yes, too many dismiss the power of a musket, and especially the crowd that are anti 2d amendment that say "go back to using muskets".

The injuries and deaths from a musket are on an individual basis, far more gruesome than with most guns.

Imagine a perpetrator with their head literally blown up by a citizen using a musket instead of a gun.
