You couldn’t be more wrong if you tried. The sun has a 27 to 35 day rotational period. I know science is hard and racist too. The earth obviously takes 365.25 days to complete it’s today rotation around the sun rotates in the same direction that earth’s orbital path moves so as to counteract it to some degree. The sun is rotating faster than earth is progressing in it’s orbital direction the net effect is that sun spots track from left to right relative to earth and our view of the sun’s face it will be a week or so for the spot to move off axis with earth’s orbital position.
