I’m a life insurance underwriter. In 25 years I’ve had 6 former NFL players die on me. 3x from accidental prescription pain killers overdoses (you build tolerance and they need to increase the dosage to alleviate the chronic pain. Overdosing then happens easy.) and 3x deaths due to obesity related morbidities. (HTN, lipids, CAD, Diabetes)
CAD is “Coronary Artery Disease”, NOT “Computer Aided Design” for those of us who don’t know the jargon.
