Last time I read this was about two years ago. I quit after about three minutes a side. That was barefoot. I had a trainer who told me if you have shoes on it doesn’t really count. I was on a thin carpet, though.
Back in high school the cross-country skiing coach told us to stand on one leg and balance as we dressed/undressed in the morning/night. I thought he was nuts and that it would be impossible. It was really hard at first (putting on a sock, putting one leg of your pants on, tying your shoe, etc. - all while standing up and balancing on one leg). After awhile I suppose between getting stronger muscles and better balance it wasn’t so hard.
