Do you want the American people to believe 2020 was a fair election, and that President Trump is a liar, and that he incited an insurrection on Jan 6?
Because that’s exactly what they’ll conclude if Republicans “move on”, and nobody dares to fight back or even talk about it.
It’s true there’s not going to be any decertification or restoring President Trump to office before 2024, but that doesn’t mean we can just close the book on the crime of the century and “move on”.
The American people should be beyond outraged about what happened, and the level of outrage should be rising to a fever pitch leading up to the elections - not diminishing.
To Central_va: Do you honestly think Trump can persuade The American People of that fact? By your own account, that’s the goal. Do you really believe he can get there?
And if you don’t actually believe that, don’t you have to come up with a better plan?
Because that’s exactly what they’ll conclude if Republicans “move on”, and nobody dares to fight back or even talk about it.
Trump and his supporters talk about it daily and fight every day, and the other side talks 'big lie' and dismiss every claim Trump and team make. Why? Because in spite of all the evidence claimed none of it has been taken to court. Unless and until someone is charged, tried, convicted, and sentences for vote fraud relating to the 2020 election then all it is is talk.
Seems like you and I are the only ones still outraged by the stolen election - everyone else wants to let bygones be bygones.
This.
