The burn rate for this government (Ukraine...) is somewhere between five and six billion dollars a month and that is a staggering burn rate.
USAID was part of president Biden's commitment in disbursing a billion dollars to the world bank trust fund.
Thanks to congress and rare bipartisanship in this town we have 7.5 billion dollars more direct budget support that we wish to be providing to Ukraine.
That is a lot of money and that is money that we know is not going to be enough.
We know that more direct budget support is going to be needed down the line we all want to be able to go uh to our friends on capitol hill, go to the American people and say this was money well spent.

❗️The enemy suffers significant losses . On June 21, as a result of a strike with precision weapons of the Russian Aerospace Forces, up to 500 servicemen of the 59th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with weapons and military equipment , stationed in the shops of the Nikolaev shipbuilding plant Okean, were destroyed.
◽️The servicemen of the battalion of the 57th motorized infantry brigade, which was defending in the area of the settlements of Gorskoye, Podlesnoye, Vrubovka of the Lugansk People’s Republic, having lost more than 60 percent of their personnel, refused to obey the order of the command and arbitrarily left all their positions .

📊 In total , more than 620 nationalists, 24 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, as well as 27 special vehicles were destroyed as a result of air strikes, missile troops and artillery during the day .
💥During the day, Russian air defense systems shot down: a Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force in the Barmashevo region of the Nikolaev region and a MiG-29 in the Apostolovo region of the Dnepropetrovsk region. Also , 16 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down in the areas of the settlements of Bolshiye Prokhody, Malaya Kamyshevakha, Novodmitrovskoe, Veseloe, Belyaevka, Brazhkovka, Chervonoe, Dolgenke, Suligovka, Yasinovatoe and Zmeiny Island.
