That's the point that many here don't get. If you let Islam gain inroads then it WILL be forced on everyone. Islam seeks to dominate an area, the very word means submission. Islam does not peacefully co-exist with other religions and the French know this. We in America are naive about it, we think it's just like the Baptists living with Catholics, Jews with Lutherans, etc. Islam doesn't work that way.
The French have been dealing with Islam since 732 at the Battle of Tours when Charles Martel defeated them. If that hadn't happened there would be no western civilization today. There never would have been a renaissance or industrial revolution, and every person of European descent would be praying towards Mecca five times a day.
