Matthew is hardly a ‘washed-up actor’, and there were some things I liked about what he said. He had some rights to say them , having grown up there. Looking at it objectively though, it was the POLICE who showed you what real, self-administered gun control looks like, and the fatal consequences it has.
I am only replying to you=bookmarking you so I can find this thread again. Much info on it and can think of no foolproof way to have access to it again.
I have liked many of his movies, too. The last was, “Interstellar”, from 2014, so I’ll stick with my characterization of “washed-up”, just the same.
Everyone has a right to an opinion. Most don’t get the White House press briefing room to express it. He did grow up there and appears to have political ambitions. There is a lot of talk occurring, before the locals are even able to get an understanding of what happened.
I think the situation stinks of wrongdoing on a lot of levels.
