Sure, it could be today. Anything’s possible. But next week seems more plausible given the SCOTUS history of saving ultra-controversial decisions until the last day for a release-it-and-get-out-of-Dodge-before-sundown kinda approach.

Agreed. And most of the time they make a decision based upon what will cause the least amount of riots, not on what is or is not constitutional.

As the anti-Federalist papers predicted, the Supreme Court is the weak link that will bring down the entire house of cards that is the constitution.

How far out of Dodge will it be necessary to go & when might it be safe to come back? Just wondering. It occurs to me that many arrests may need to be made after this decision. It’s probably not all bad as I imagine some of the people who could be vigorously involved might have need to be locked up for a considerable time.
