The enslaved didn't have guns. It took white men with guns willing to lay down their lives for the country to free them.
Maybe if every day Africans had guns they wouldn't have been captured by other Africans and sold into slavery at the muslim slave markets.
We lost several family members who fought to free the slaves so this is total BS. One father lost 5 sons fighting for the North.
