Hitler actually allowed homos in his Party leadership if they were useful in proselytizing the party line or were thugs willing to do the dirty work of bumping off those the Party wanted dead, like Jews. At other times they were victims of the fascist regime.

Putin om the other hand, and those who still hew to the old Communist Party beliefs, does not tolerate sexual deviancy easily. He wants to keep Western influences out of Russia because he considers our social structure as way too permissive of decadent lifestyles and speaks out against this behavior as negative influences on the family structure. He wants to shield his citizens from such sexual improprieties, very old school in attitude, regardless of his other belligerent propensities. No Hunter Biden for him.

Many middle European countries such as Hungary and Poland are way more intolerant of sexual deviancy than the EU and U.S. And of course many of the Muslim countries kill off known homosexuals and deviants, although who knows what goes on behind closed doors.
