Sikhs are very nice people, at least the Sikhs I’ve met. Many Seattle cab drivers are Sikhs, polite and helpful. I was in downtown Seattle one afternoon, missed the bus to a very important ophthalmology appointment when a Sikh driver pulled over and picked me up, refused to take any money from a stranded woman.
Indeed, I had a good friend in college who was Sikh.
From my own experience with him but also others, Sikhs are generally good people.
There WAS that terror incident, however. Blew up an airplane long ago.
Otherwise, though, do not confuse them with Moslems of any stripe.
You’ll notice Moslems never smile, are angry like all the time. Likewise, with the turbans…Sikh men ALWAYS wear them, while various Moslem men don’t. And Sikhs always are neat and clean….compared to Moslem turbans of any kind, which tend to be dirty and disheveled.
