He should be charged with attempted murder. If I was the patron that almost got run over. The driver's statement implicated him and is totally bunk. When you drive a car THROUGH a store with employees and patrons inside and say you heard voices, I think you are definitely in a weak position. They should charge him accordingly, lock him up and discourage people from doing this again.
