Then again, North Carolina’s two Senators are the corrupt Richard Burr who is retiring rather than facing a certain ass kicking and Tom Tillis who I had to hold my nose and support (last time I support a RINO). At least we have one to vote for in November who looks like he’ll be good. Ted Budd is Trump endorsed and trounced the RINO establishment endorsed Pat McRory.

I've never voted for him in the primary. Last time I didn't even vote for him in the general (and never will again). He voted with Harry Reid too many times.

There is nothing more frighting for politicians than a room full of angry voters.
As soon as he backed down, I knew he had heard from voters.
It is illegal per the 4th amendment. "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized." Red flag laws are a sleight of hand to go around the 4th amendment. They are illegal.
He was toast to me when he started stabbing Ted Cruz in the back when Ted first got into the Senate.

Attendees were there for the Texas Republican Convention, not there to specifically hear Cornyn. As Senator, Cornyn was one of the obligatory speakers.
I met Cornyn at the 2002 Texas Republican Convention before he was elected to his first term. I did not like him at the time and especially since then.
Tea Parties across Texas tried to get rid of Cornyn in the 2014 election. We were able to get his vote in the primary down to 59% but he was reelected by low information voters.
