You’re out throwing insults this early in the morning?
Further proof that this world is filled with easily butthurt mofos.....!
The “subtle message” contradicts and effectively cancels the “sentimental tribute”.
“...his term of endearment. If he didn’t like you, he didn’t speak to you.”
Describes a self-centered guy who lived in his own tiny world, did not get out much, probably was an Iowa demonkrap, (who else would manipulate the meanings of words ... phrase as a “term of endearment”). At least he was lucky to have biologically connections who put up with him, or were suffering from a codependency.
A relation, eh.
Does your absolute statement mean that people aren’t entitled to criticize, ridicule, judge or disagree with what someone else engraves on their tombstone, else be called a pansy?
If the decedent’s family put the statement in the public domain, seems all is fair my FRiend. IOW, they made it the reader’s business, that is if the reader chooses to comment or express an opinion.
Thank you. Totally agree.
“the room temperature IQ folks tend to think it’s incredibly clever.”
Not necessarily clever, but not anybody’s business except the family’s.
As I just responded to another FRiend, because the family made a statement in the “public square” they opened the door for the reader to express an opinion, be criticized or praised, etc. So they made it the business of any reader. I did not read anyone saying it should be chiseled out.
But I would agree with you that it is nobody’s business if the tombstone was inside their garage, i.e. not in public.
If you have to search to find something that offends you, you really are a Karen.
Or a NAACP member.
ROTFLMAO...... clever, I like it.
Well, you spoke your opinion, you do know what they say about opinions?

I loved this one:”If you can read this you’re standing on my boobs.”
Ironically you just reinforced the European stereotype of us!
I'm going to come up with something witty for my own headstone, because I'm that kind of guy. Hopefully I can think of a clever epitaph before I kick off.
What is interesting to me this morning is the number of Friends who expressed an opinion that an intentionally engraved, visible, “public statement” is “nobody’s business”.
Apparently some FRiends who like or tolerate the not so subtle message as free expression of the decedent are easily offended (or more disgusted) by the persons who express a contrary view - who find it puerile, inappropriate, undignified, a cultural erosion, etc in the public square. But saying it is no one’s business when the gravestone is in the public square moves one closer to censorship, intentional or not.
I agree if it is who he was in life and his kids think this is what he would want in death the stupid town needs to lighten up, get over to their school boards and make sure their kids are not being groomed to be transgender for crying out loud!!!
It does not offend me just NCAA= No Class At All
“You do know what they say about opinions?”
Yes I do, and you apparently had the “decency” to not to write it out. LOL. And yes, my opinion, like yours, is out there in the public, so both of us are open to criticism - fair or unfair.
Why not? I am positive that if it had some gay related material on it that it would not be questioned. In fact I’ll bet the aclu would probably show up to defend a tombstone shaped like a big d#ck.
Looks like this guy achieved his 15 minutes of fame after he died.
Same. Jewish guy from Glasgow who made aliyah to Israel.
Heck of a plane mechanic, though.
He could fluently cuss in 4-5 languages. Do it right to a generals face, too.
