True. And I would add that the way society is structured now extends childhood by many years and has an especially negative effect on boys.

Boys appear immature because society doesn’t allow them to be mature in many ways. Child labor laws (among other changes) stripped many young men of the ability to appear marriage worthy, and now the majority of young people are still mentally children into their late 20’s.

I agree with that....there are far too many wimpy effeminate men today - and the so called “bad boys” come across as strong and protective which meets a woman's natural need for stability. Of course that backfires with “bad boys” often on the woman.

Just let men be men and women be women and they'll figure it out. Society needs to stop interfering in relationships....and stay out of the bedroom!
