Thanks for sharing that. Good to know that Hanks has done some god things. He has always seemed to me to be a down to earth guy and not another way out there loon like Aron Reiner or Deniro.

Regarding the WWII museum: Be ft ore I retired I’d go to New Orleans every other year for a trade show. I was able to go to the museum twice. It is a must see when in New Orleans.

I’d like to add something: there “was” an HBO series called the Mighty Eighth, and due again to “politics”, it will never see the light of day. I was lucky..really lucky to see the first episode due to some connections and it’s DAMN GOOD. On youtube, there’s a trailer for it. Don Miller, who wrote Masters of the Air about the 8th Air Force, consulted on Band. He heavily referred Hanks and his contribution to the Museum. I want to, like you, see both museums some day.
