WPA2 has known weaknesses. If you live in a crowded area (e.g., an apartment building) you definitely will want to upgrade to WPA3.
Ditto not buying Chinese routers (e.g., TP-Link) unless you reflash them with something open source like OpenWrt.
We are losing Xfinity cable TV but keeping the internet. They are swapping out our old router and replacing it with their newest router, theXB7, or the Gateway. What I want to know, is it a WPA2, or WPA3? I can’t find that information anywhere, and I’m tired of looking. Thanks in advance…
