“a dozen sports for women and six for men”...sheesh...a dozen sounds like ribbon gymnastics, or underwater basketweaving are included.
In the past sports prepared men for battle, hence women were engaged in other things, or so the story goes.
This doesn’t bode well for future armed conflicts.

So...if the school is aligning shorts team’s numbers with the general school gender population...does that mean there are 2 females to every male on campus? Boy, did I go to the wrong college.
Of course, there could be “ringers” on both sides of the school’s gender equation. CAREFUL who you ask for a date! Evidence of, or lack of, an Adam’s Apple should be the first physical trait to be considered.
