I’m in lower Alabama. Don’t get me started. Not the little ones, none of those. Just the ones that look like they could carry off a small child. Went to my sister’s house yesterday to look at her newly remodeled bathroom. Immaculately clean. There was a three incher crawling around on the shower wall. And there’s nothing you can do to prevent them.

I think I’ve finally got the secret. I spray the outside of the house with peppermint oil. They, like many bugs (ants) HATE IT! Keeps them away from the house. I’ll spray it onto all the mulch beds for the shrubs/flowers around the house too.
Yes we get those too. 😆
