Actually they do have tons of female raiders roughing it in the wilderness and rail thin female guards running around in plate armor inexplicably in post apocalyptic and medieval settings with the ratio moving toward 50% in recent games. To be fair this is the new standard. Of the major studios only Rockstar still makes an effort to preserve suspension of disbelief on this front and even that may be going to the wayside.
