They will have to have 10-20 year loans so everyone can buy an EV and if the earth ends in 8 years it will be a great deal.

My guess - she owns a mansion und a yacht.

And it's probably overlooking an ocean... from the view of her swimming pool.

This whole climate change/global warming driven by part per million increases in CO2 has always been a hoax. The theory of man caused global warming has been discredited as a valid scientific theory, but lives on as a cult religion and powerful tool of the great reset. Americans are seeing first hand the results of this climate change cult every time they go to the grocery store or buy gasoline. Biden’s slip that we have to endure hardships to reach a green utopia are pushing the limits.

Americans cannot afford to replace their IC vehicles nor will the EVs touted by the haughty dolts in the Administration offer any practical alternative. The pain at the pump will soon be only one of the many climate change catastrophes soon to drop on us. Widespread blackouts are all but certain this summer exacerbated by the increasing reliance on the fickle electric generation of windmills and solar farms. Next winter natural gas shortages will leave thousands shivering and potentially dying of hypothermia. American agriculture runs on diesel fuel thus diesel fuel shortages could well mean food shortages.

The green utopia is a farce and will simply mean that ordinary Americans will suffer while the liberal elites will continue to fly their private jets, live in mansions not lacking for air conditioning or heating and not want for food.

I wish there was a way to get ALL of the magazine covers and articles from the 70’s OUT to every young person on this planet, I have been listening to this garbage for 50 years now, we were ALL going to freeze to death, then we were ALL going die from the heat and droughts, NOW we are all going to die from the water levels rising quickly YET every one of these bastards are purchasing HUGE ocean front properties around the globe where the hell is the younger generations common sense???

Freezing was always the better argument because we are currently in an Ice Age - the Quaternary. A geologic time period characterized by cyclic continental glaciations. We’ve enjoyed a warming lull for the last 15K to 11K years where we’ve built civilization. Give ourselves a collective pat on the back! As I remember the 1970s claim, it stated the wrong reasons (I don’t remember any claims it was man made! Maybe there were some claims!) and very very greatly exaggerated the evidence and timing. Of course, the reasons for doing it was not informing the public but to scare the public into massive government action\socialism.

One elephant tail.

This is a repeat posting of mine from similar threads but I think it bears repeating. It is froma chemical engineer friend of mine from our discussion on efficiency of refineries.

All of the annual CO2 from burning petroleum compared to all the CO2 from natural sources amounts to the tail of the elephant.

Back when I was still working, I worked with a guy who was already looking at mean average global temperature and carbon emissions-before that was even a thing. He took worldwide crude oil and natural gas consumption and estimated the tons of CO2 that would be generated assuming 100% combustion. He then put a photo of an elephant on screen and said if the elephant is total CO2 emissions for the entire planet, only the tail would represent man made combustion of petroleum. Maybe the elephant has two tails now, but the analogy still works. I can’t remember if he included coal or not - too long ago.

And assuming 100% conversion of petroleum products covers all the energy to produce, process and distribute them too, not to mention any electricity generation from them.

He said the vast majority of CO2 comes from Mother Nature herself - largely from biomass in the oceans.
